Wool is a completely natural fiber derived from animal fur. In addition to wool from sheep you have probably heard of alpaca, merino, kashmir, mohair or angora - these are the most popular wool types. Wool types can vary in density, roughness or softness, appearance, etc. Wool is a very popular fabric because of its unique properties. It retains the warmth and protects from the cold while staying breathable. The fabric is highly practical as it does not crease, hardly gets dirty and can last many years with proper care.

Woollen items are recommended to wash by hand, but for saving time you can also use a washing machine. In the latter case, it is important to use a special wool program and washing detergents that are designed for this fiber.

Acrylic is an artificial fiber derived from natural gas. Depending on the processing technology, it may cost even more than wool or cotton. This is because of its special properties - this light and soft fiber is extremely easy to dye and ensures rich colours for a long time. Acrylic can feel like cashmere when touching.

Acrylic does not require special care and items can be washed with regular washing programs at temperatures up to 40°C. For preventing static-electricity, laundry softeners can be used.
